 Biography

Allen R. Randle, Sr., is a former college baseball player at The University of LA at Monroe, formally called Northeast LA University) and a former Semi-professional baseball player in the South Texas area. He was also a private baseball instructor in the entire Galveston County in the South TX region for nearly seven years. His primary position was pitcher, but he also specialized in hitting. In 1996 Coach Randle invented the Swing Thing and later developed and researched it before receiving a Design Patent which was issued by the United States Patent office. Coach Randle served as a high school baseball coach for 7 years in both Galveston, TX and Franklin, LA, as well as instructed well over 600 boys and girls in the sports of baseball and softball in private baseball instruction. Coach Randle not only played with and against many professional baseball players, he was also instrumental in helping to launch professional careers of many professional players. Coach Randle is presently a preacher and the pastor of the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, New Iberia, and Abbeville, LA, but still manages to help young athletes in the game of baseball as often as time permits.
